Sempervivum Hybridum

  • they need to be grown in full sun with slight water to fully exhibit the different colours.
  • Their flowers are typically pink or red white or pale-yellow
  • They should be planted in a shallow gritty, welldrained soil.
  • They are notably tolerant of diseases.

Traditional uses: Most Sempervivums are quite frost resistant and very easy to grow outside in rock gardens, planters, tubs and troughs.  they are the perfect plants of roof-gardens due to their nature. As they are undemanding but varied they are popular also in cemetery-gardening.
